We at Houston Beer Week have been waiting (very impatiently) to bring you this news. A few months ago, we told you about an event that would be occurring during Beer Week with our friends at Whole Foods Market.

We now have many of the beers lined up for the Night After Monsters Event at Whole Food Montrose. This event is scheduled to take place on Sunday, November 13th from 5pm to 8pm. Mikkel Borg Bjergso of Mikkeller beer fame will make his first appearance in Houston at this event. He will be on hand to discuss his beers and sign bottles.

Tickets go on sale today – Monday, October 10th – at 9am. Tickets are $100/each and include samples of 24 of the rare beers available, heavy hor d’oeuvres and access to purchase limited numbers of growlers and other rare beers to take home with you. This is really going to be a unique experience to try these amazing beers – many never before available in Houston. You can buy tickets here.

However, as exciting as it will be to have Mikkel in Houston, really it’s the beer that will be the stars of the evening. The beer list is still growing – so this is likely to change before the day of the event. There are only 300 tickets available, and they will not last long, so do not wait.
